I take an intellectual knife
to pare away the dross and bling.
To find the meaning of my life,
to make me one with everything.
I cast away belongings and
the base desires to which I cling.
So lightened and enlightened I
can become one with everything.
I meditate, I look inside
with all the focus I can bring.
The universe then springs to life
and I am one with everything.
